Summary

Self Control is a mental-health self-help app for OCD, panic, social anxiety and general anxiety. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the app processes and where it is stored.

Data kept on your device

The following is created and stored only on your device (local settings + SwiftData). None of it is sent to a server; the developer cannot see it.

You can delete all of this anytime via Profile → Reset data. Deleting the app also removes all local data.

Chat (optional) and Firebase

The anonymous chat feature only runs if you start it yourself. If you use it, the app uses Google's Firebase:

Sensitive-data note: your chat messages may contain mental-health-related personal information. Whether to share such content is entirely your choice. Firebase is a processor acting on our behalf and is subject to Google/Firebase Privacy & Security.

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
